Blog Updates:
Site Summary:
Open wheel racing started in my family with my grandfather, Bill Eldridge, as a 4 time NEMA, (Northeast Midget Association), championship driver; racing for different car owners. His first two championships were the first two years of NEMA’s existence 1953 and 1954.
The second generation continued with my father, Steven Eldridge, who also raced for different car owners with NEMA; and then with his own car. He unfortunately passed away in 1994 due to complications with cancer. His brother, Bobby Eldridge, also raced for different car owners with NEMA and then with his own car he has been racing with USAC.
For the past few years Drew, my brother, has been racing 125cc dirt bikes. I found myself helping out at the track, when time permited. It hasn't been until recently that Drew, and Jordan Eldridge, my cousin, and I have all purchased Mini Sprints. It wasn't until that moment that I realized what I wanted to do with this site. My brother, my cousin and I will begin the third generation of open wheel drivers in our family.
Over the next few months you will see additions to the site including pictures from the past and present; and anything else I deem fit to post. So sit back, save us as your home page, and enjoy the journey.
